My name is David Joseph Salls.
I am a cabinetmaker, finish carpenter, and architectural designer.
This site showcases project examples from my company David Joseph Interiors.
I live in beautiful Coquitlam British Columbia in the greater Vancouver region.
My Story
I was attracted to carpentry, drafting and architectural design at an early age growing up in a trades family.
As a young adult I managed restaurants while studying interior design and project management. I find the mindset of hospitality and interior design industries to be very relatable, as they are both about nurturing people and the spaces we inhabit.
I acquired my Red Seal Cabinet Maker (Joiner) ticket after years of working in predominantly high-end residential construction.
I ran my own millwork shop in Vancouver for several years before pivoting to contracting millwork design, installations and finish carpentry for renovations and new builds.
I’m inspired by the building process and enjoy collaboration with others that share my passion. Don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or ideas about your next project.
